Weight Management Programme

This programme supports those above a healthy weight to lose weight in a safe and maintainable way, addressing the nutritional, physical activity & psychological aspects of behaviour change.

Exercise and a healthy diet are vital to health and well-being but sometimes actually doing or maintaining doing these things can be the hardest part. I understand that there is so much more to weight management than just food or exercise. Our relationship with food and exercise is linked to our emotions, coping mechanisms and how we deal with the demands in our daily life.

My approach focuses on the psychological issues around weight management through a combination of nutritional & physical activity education, Health Psychology, group support, Clinical hypnotherapy, Time-Line Therapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. 


These processes combined give clients a deeper understanding of how their own thoughts and internal dialogue can have a profound impact on the health behaviour that follows. I also work to help clients eliminate limiting-beliefs and negative self-talk, thus increasing confidence, resilience, self-love and self-empowerment. The programme aims to help clients change their thinking style at a deeper level and empower them to make long-lasting healthy lifestyle changes. I deliver these individual and group weight management programmes for those above a healthy weight, both in-person and online.
